The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Group

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a wide array of heroes, and a gripping narrative including divine entities, demons, and dark forces growing in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Revealing details for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 are included.

The Warrior Group Introduced

The third episode ended with a huge suspense moment and revealed the initial group of adventurers who will branch out from the primary party to embark on their own adventure, distinct from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table consists of the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

With 13 cast members, it was obvious from the outset that maintaining everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

This explains, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, weaving together the individual narratives before branching into three separate parties: Warriors, Schemers, and Seekers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for players who enjoy a typically action-packed battle-oriented narrative style where non-violent answers are few and far between.

Initially, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might appear mismatched, but the actions of the third episode demonstrate why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the group knows exactly where to proceed after a brutal opening clash with the enemy group.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose demise started the campaign’s events—exploited the foes for his own means, invading the hidden lair, attacking the character, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.

The traitor then cleared his obligations and ran away to a secure base in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each character has a personal reason to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as the companion and trusted friend, wants retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with Timmony and warns that it is a dangerous place.
  • The warrior and The healer, having disobeyed his house’s orders to eliminate the fighter and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • However, their position as key figures in the influential clan could help the team reach locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, The fighter swore a eternal obligation to The savior for his deliverance and will now go with him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are sought by the powers that rule the city for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and The cleric turned against House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The target is marked for death by House Halovar.

This results in them little choice but to travel to the remote area in quest for the antagonist.

Future Episodes

From the recent installment’s follow-up content, we discover that the warrior group will be absent the following episode, leaving the rest of the players to assemble the Explorers and Strategists parties.

Fans can expect finding out which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the story’s last Overture episode, available to watch on next week.
