The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters met for the customary face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually happening.
